People's Map API

The People's Map Javascript API allows you to add the People's Map to your web site.

Functionality

• Add the People’s Map API to your website – The standard API contains three layers, namely the People’s Map, Aerial Imagery & Historical Maps
• Add or remove map layers from the display – Customize the data layers to your requirements
• Set the Map Location and Zoom Level - Centre the map to a defined location and zoom level
• Add Markers to the Map – Create and add a marker to a layer displayed on the map
• Add Markers and Pop-ups to a Map - Create and add a marker with a popup to a layer displayed on the map
• Add a GeoRSS Feed to the Map
• The People’s Map makes use of the OpenLayers technology so if you would like to obtain further detail regarding the API functionalities, please see: http://openlayers.org/
